Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to finish my project?

-Stamped Concrete resurfacing takes between 2 and 7 business days due to dry times and is contingent on the weather.

-Flake Epoxy Floors take 2 to 3 days.

How long will the Stamped Concrete Resurfacing last?

-You should expect at least 15 to 20 years of structural stability. Reseal every 5 years to maintain its appearance.

How thick is the Overlay?

It is approximately 1/4 to 3/8th of an inch thick.

I have areas of my concrete that are uneven and water puddles. Can you overlay the entire thing and the puddling stop?

Maybe.. We can do our best and add extra concrete to the problem areas but because a "perfect" slope is needed to completely drain standing water, that technique CANNOT BE GARUNTEED.

Does every acrylic overlay design cost the same?

No. Designs with no grout lines typically are $1 less than grouted designs.

Do you cover the pool during the resurfacing process?

Sometimes. When Grinding, yes. If not, No. We do our best to keep material out of the pool. Sometimes a small amount may get in but nothing significant.

What is needed to get on the Calendar? And to start my project?

We'll put you on the calendar as soon as you like our Estimate/Quote price.  No deposit needed.  To start we need the estimate contract signed electronically or printed and signed and 1/2 of the estimate total as a deposit by the end of the prep work.  To sign it electronically simply go into your email, locate the estimate, Click "More Option" and then you should see a button/link that says "Sign Document". Click on it and type in your name. As soon as you sign it I have access to it. No sending manually needed.

What options do we have to pay your company?

We accept Cash, checks. Cashiers checks, or Credit Card.

Do we need to clean anything before you can start the Acrylic Resurfacing?

No that isn't necessary. We pressure wash every job so you don't need to.

Does the overlay get as hot as normal concrete in direct Florida sun?

No, it stays cool like "Cool Deck" does. However, if it's painted a dark color, it'll get hot in the sun.

Will mold or oil stain the concrete like bare concrete?

No. The stain and acrylic sealer eliminates the ability for dirt, mold, oil or anything to get into the pores of the concrete.

Will I need to use a pressure washer to clean the overlay? How do I maintain it?

Not typically.  High PSI is recommended against. A hose, broom or a mop is all you need. The acrylic sealer makes them tolerant to most cleaning supplies typically used on floors.
